Cleveland Cavaliers dismantle the Toronto Raptors in Game 1
The Cleveland Cavaliers dismantled the Toronto Raptors, 115-84, in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have sweept the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons prior to this series and enjoyed a nine day rest. Meanwhile the Raptors battled with the Miami Heat winning Game 7 on Sunday, 116-89.
Cavs have not lost this postseason and have the potential to sweep the Raptors all the way into the NBA Finals. Kyrie Irving put up 27 points and 5 assists,while LeBron James added 24 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Cavs.
DeMar DeRozan scored 18 points, while Kyle Lowry had a bad shooting night, 8 points on 4-of-14 shooting and 4 turnovers. Raptors will need to rest up, get their minds back on track if they are to have a chance in Game 2.
